The former Director General of the National Sports Commission said the Late Ojeme was a thorough professional who will be missed by everyone.
“Ojeme’s death hit me like a bolt from nowhere. We related well. He was a junior colleague and was very lively. He was very productively academic.
“He maintained a column for years and was very regular at it. A rich column where young people in the profession could tap a whole lot knowledge from.
“Ojeme’s death is a big loss to our profession – physical education professionals. We all take solace in the fact that at the end of the day, we also will exit this world.
“It’s Ojeme’s time today. What we really feel sad about is that he exited at a time all his friends and family needed him most. All we now pray is his family absolves it and accepts it. We pray always for the repose of his soul.”
