We ‘ll return Imo to Imolites – Ikenga Johnjude Okere

The Accord party candidate for the November 11, 2023, governorship in Imo State, Ikenga Johnjude Okere, has pledged he would return Imo to people of the state by way of offering superlative delivery and performance if elected.

Speaking to journalists in a function last weekend, Ikenga Johnjude said, “The fundamental problem threatening the rapid growth and development of our dear state is the lack of connectivity between the citizenry and the state itself.

“The citizenry is not carried along in the activities of the state. This is not really good in a democratic ambience. For our state to grow and develop, the state actors must always relate to the masses in order to practically understand thier respective problems and burdens.

“For this lofty dream to be realized, the government of the day must throw its doors open by tickling the numerous socioeconomic challenges confronting the people”.

Ikenga Johnjude stated that he was poised to returning Imo to Imolites by building massive infrastructural development that includes but not limited to activating a robust infustrial and agricultural revolution; rural roads construction; refurbishment and equipping of exiting schools, hospitals with other government facilities; construction of modern markets to suit todays needs; promotion of sports, entertainment and tourism as a tool for job creation and host of others.
