Fed Cup: High-flying Ingas FC unfazed of Plateau United, says Kingsley Obiekwu

Head Coach of Nigeria Division One, NLO side, Ingas FC, Kingsley Obiekwu said his team remain resolute and determined to make progress into the next round of Federation Cup.

The Enugu-based side will trade tackles with Plateau United in a make-or-mar encounter on Wednesday in Abuja.

Speaking with Wakawaka Sports Extra, on Global FM Sports Update, he noted that his lads are in high spirits ahead of the crunch fixture.

The renowned coach went further to commend the owner of the team, Anthony Ingas for being supportive to the growth and aspirations of the enterprising young side.

His words: “It’s going to be a great encounter. Coming into this game we are the underdogs but we have one believe that has been our faith. The boys are in high spirits to see how far we can go on this journey.

“When I came back from UK after my coaching course, Ingas was the first club I worked with. This crop of players have the spirit and determination. From Ingas my career was propelled.

“This club have been so good to me and I have a good relationship with the management and coaches. Ingas over the years have developed players and give them a chance abroad.”
