The Chief Executive officer of the World African SMEs Presidential Academy (World African SMEs Business School ) Amb Darlington Onuoha Kalu has expressed optimism that the proposed POCACOV /World African SMEs Academy ( A Knowledge Hub for the youth on Entrerenuership) will fill in the yawning gap of the platform of self discovery and entreprenural skills for young minds and youths and for engagement for strategic leadership direction.Amb. Darlington Onuoha kalu who also is the Abia State Chairman of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV Volunteer Clubs) made this known in Umuahia while revealing the scope to be covered by the centre as well World AfricanSMEs Academy Partnership with POCACOV.He maintained that Academy revolves around the program and activities of POCACOV on youth value reorientation,Self Discovery ,Engagement and strategic Leadership direction and this will further aid in the campaign to reposition the mindset of the young minds and further turn them into better citizens for a safe,peaceful and secured community.He disclosed that a site has already been secured at Amanputa community of isialangwa South Local Government Area of Abia state through the Traditional Ruler for the world class Academy by the African Association for small and Medium Entreprise AASME and Coalition of Business Groups as well as Associations of Nigeria and Dar-sento Organizations with the Consent of Ministry of Small and Medium enerprise Development,Ministry of Education,Trade and investment,science and technology.He further explained that academy is also recognized by the International Council for Small Business as a knowledge HUB for SME Training ,Research ,Workshop ,Exhibition and educational services centre..We look at how we can further partner with the Nigeria Police Force through its community driven program called POCACOV to constantly reorient our young minds/Youths,engage them for self discovery and strategic leadership direction through stakeholders participation for a safe and peaceful communities as well as National growth and Development pointing out that WAASMEs,AASME was fully involved in drafting the plan for Abia Abia State Long term Development Plan Vision and also have chaired the Trade and investment committee.
