Former Heartland Queens Captain and Ibom Angels defense strong woman, Ugobest Osuji has set sights on helping her side pick the promotion ticket to the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
At the NWFL championship holding at Saint Patrick College Field in Calabar, Ibom Angels top Group B1 after three matches with 9 points.
Osuji, who has netted twice for her team is optimistic that the team will secure promotion.
“I am excited because we are marching forward. I thank God and I am happy that I am contributing to the success of the team.
“It’s to help the team pick the ticket to the premiership where they belong. I see the team playing in the premiership next season. We are taking it one step at a time.”
