Technical Adviser of Ingas FC of Enugu, Coach, Kingsley Obiekwu has hailed his team and owner of the team following the success of his side in the Federation Cup round of 32 tie.
The Enugu-based team defeated Nigeria Premier Football League side, Elkanemi Warriors 8-9 on penalties after it ended 1-1 on regulation time.
Speaking with Wakawaka Sports Extra, he said the owner of the team has remain committed to the growth of the players through his support.
“We played 1-1 on regulation time and won on penalties 8-9. We played Round of 64 which was a walk over.
“Our Chairman, Mr. Anthony Ingas has been supportive and the one God is using to provide for the team.
“He is a friend and a colleague when I was playing in Holland. He started Ingas FC for more than two decades now. God has been using him to raise players all over the country.”
Ingas, who continued their impressive form with a one-nil victory over First Mahi FC in the ongoing 2023 NLO Division One League season in Ngor Okpala will have a date with Plateau United in the Federation Cup round of 16 in Abuja.
