Acting on the directives of the IGP Usman Alkali Baba that Police Officers should engage in continuous weekly sporting activities to enable them keep fit and improve quality service delivery, officers of Imo State Police Command on Wednesday, at the Command’s Parade ground, embarked on various form of physical exercises.
The exercises includes; running, body building exercises, strength training, Aerobics training, balance and stability training, flexibility and mobility as well as various sporting competitions after which prizes were presented to the winners by the DC Admin.
The fun-filled IGP’s weekly sporting activity which was driven towards enhancing job performance and entrenching community policing had in attendance the Commissioner Of Police CP Mohammed Ahmed Barde, represented by DCP Ukachi Peter Okpara (DC ADMIN), ACP Abdullahi Musa (AC Opps), the management team, senior officers, Inspectors, Rank and File of the command as well as other well meaning residents of Imo State.
The sporting exercise Wakawaka Sports Extra reports was bolstered by Old English Resorts, Bar and Grills ltd.
