Young Minds have been reminded on the need to stay away from Cultism,Bullying of fellow students under any guise,violent behaviours,Substance and Drug Abuse and Other Vices in order to be a champion .This admonition was made when the police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) Volunteer Club Team Rivers State led by its Chairman Amb Onwuka Eke took a campaign trip to Comprehensive Secondary School ,Oginigba Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state on 8/12/2021 as part of the ongoing efforts by POCACOV the Nigeria police community policing initiative to engage and sensitize young minds in schools on the dangers of cultism and other vices and to remain focus to be a champion under the POCACOV IN MY SCHOOL activity of POCACOV which is meant to cut the supply chains and conveyor belt of cultism and other vices amongst school children for a better society.The school management applauded the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force through POCACOV the NPF Community policing Initiative which has been setting a new direction through value reorientation of young minds and making them better citizens. Highlight of the visit was the inauguration of POCACOV FAN CLUB for safer school which will be serving also as a channel of reorientation desk in the school amongst others.Earlier ,the
POCACOV Team had visited on 7/12/2021 community comprehensive secondary school Rumuokurushi where they also carried out a similar campaign message of POCACOV as part of the ongoing POCACOV IN MY SCHOOL ACTIVITY for school and thereafter inaugurated a POCACOV FAN CLUB Desk to help sustain and deepen the campaign and sensitizations.POCACOV is the Nigeria Police Force Community Policing Initiative working different stakeholders and Multi Agencies in line with the tenets of community oriented Policing ,galvanizing their supports and enhancing their participations towards problem solving .
