Heartland Queens Football Club of Imo State has intensified her preparation for the Nigerian Woman League Championship and Aiteo this year.
The team was relegated before the beginning of the women football season dur to non compliance to the requirement of the Nigeria woman football league Body, NWFL.
Information from the Chairperson of the club, Tessa Nwoke after they won the Imo state Aiteo Cup last weekend, asked all players of the team across the country to immediately return back to the club as the state commissioner of youth and Sports, Hon Dan Ogu has set in motion plans to ensure they are well taking care of and allowances paid as of when due,She said the team is ready to reclaim her position on the Nigeria Woman football league.
Heartland Queens and five other teams , Kwara Ladies, Kaduna Queens , Gallant Queens Naija Ratels Fc and Adamawa Queens will battle for promotion to the Nigeria Woman Football Premiership League.
