Imo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development , Hon. Dan Ogu has directed that modalities should be put in place for the smooth take of MiniFootball in the state.
The Commissioner made the remarks when the Chairman of the Imo state MiniFootball association ,Mr Chigozi Nwagwu paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Owerri.
Hon Ogu impressed with opportunitirs the game brings to youths of the state, promised that the state government under the leadership of Senitor Hope Uzodimma will explore every opportunity available to ensure that youths in the state achieve their God given telent in the area of sports in the world.
Early in his remarks, the chairman of the association in the state Mr Chigozi Nwagwu, solicited the assistant of the state government in developing the game in the state.
He informed the commissioner about the fourth coming MiniFootball competition coming up next month in Ibadan.
