KING ATEKE TOM REASSURES OF HIS COMMITMENT TO POCACOV,COMMEND NIGERIA POLICE ON POCACOV INITIATIVE

His Royal Majesty,King Ateke Michael Tom (JP),Sekuro of Niger Delta and also the Amanyanabo of Okochiri Ancient Kingdom ,Okirika Rivers State has reassure of has commended the Nigeria Police Force and the Policing philosophy of the Inspector General of police Usman Baba Alkali in terms achieving a peoples policing anchored on the principles of community policing and policing with peoples consent and Rule of Law.The Royal father who also is the grand Patron of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) the community driven program of the Nigeria police force made this known on 27/4/2021 in his Okochiri Ancient Kingdom Palace Rivers State when he received in audience the National Coordinator Police Campaign Against Cultism and other vices (POCACOV) CSP Ebere Amaraizu with his team members on courtesy visit to Palace ahead of the upcoming Rivers State POCACOV Summit and Launch.According to him,Pocacov,he is pleased and satisfied with POCACOV Team as well as that of POCACOV Traditional Rulers Consultative Forum on their efforts in driving the campaign to the grass route and making it all inclusive and further stated that POCACOV as peaceful movement and a community policing tool designed by the Nigeria Police Force to campaign against cultism,violence,substance and drug abuse and others for a peaceful and safer community need to be embraced by all.I am happy about the penetration ability and wide spread of the campaign which is for the good of our youths and the community.As a man of peace and peace loving Royal Father that have identified with POCACOV Initiative,we shall keep supporting POCACOV concludes King Ateke Tom who received  the POCACOV Team with his counterpart and Patron of POCACOV in Rivers state,King (AMB) Leslie Nyebuchi Phd Eze Gbakagbaka,Nyerisi Eli Woji x11,nyerishi Mbam Oro -Evo ,Eze Oha Evo 111 of Evo kingdom portharcourt Rivers State.

Earlier,the National Coordinator POCACOV CSP Ebere Amaraizu had thanked King Ateke Michael Tom on behalf of the force for his continual effort, support of POCACOV as the Grand Patron which has led to wider community network of the police campaign Against Cultism and other vices and also intimated him about the upcoming Rivers state POCACOV Summit and Launch which is meant to involve different stakeholders and to enhance community peace building and robust relationship between the police and the members of the community.The National Coordinator Pocacov was joined in the visit by the Lead Consultant Pocacov Akin Emmanuel,the pocacov Volunteer Club Chairman Rivers State Amb Eke onwuka and some of  his executive amongst others.
