Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, Chairman of the all powerful Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, says the footballing World is yet to see the best of the free scoring Super Eagles and Leicester City of England forward, Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho, winner of the FIFA U17 World Cup in Dubai, UAE, in 2013 with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets, has been in an incredible form in recent weeks for the King Power outfit.
On Thursday night, Iheanacho added to his account as Leicester City thrashed West Bromwich Albion 3-0 in a Thursday night English Premier League thriller.
And a delighted Fresh told , wakawaka sports extra, that the World is yet to witness the best of Iheanacho.
“Iheanacho is super talented, he scores effortlessly, crucial goals and honestly, the World is yet to see the best of him”, Fresh quipped.
Fresh was head of the NFF Youth Department during the tenure of Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi as NFF President with Nazi Amanze Uchegbulam as Vice President.
It was the Lulu/Uchegbulam administration that organized the NFF Under 13 tournament in Abuja in 2009 where Iheanacho was first discovered.
The Ohaji, Imo State born striker has not looked back since then, graduating to the U17 national team, U20 Flying Eagles, U23 Olympic team and Super Eagles.
