Am ready to fortify Heartland team with young players-Ilechukwu.

As the Heartland team moved 3 steps up from 11th position to 8th in the NPFL table following their last 2-1 victory against Dakkada Fc of Uyo, the club Technical Adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has vowed to fortify the team with young players.

Speaking with sports writers at the Dan Anyiam Sports Stadium Owerri after their last encounter, said that as long as the management would take things easy, he is ready and prepared to recuit young players that would move the team to the next level.

He expressed joy over his team’s defeat against the Dakkada Fc in Owerri, adding that though it’s not about the team or the management but rather the joy being expressed by Imolites.

He acknowledged the fact that his boys displayed scientific socer which he introduced in the team when he came which has made them to win their matches.

He thanked the Governor for his large support to the team assuring that as long as such support continue to come, the players will certainly do well to win victory for the state.

On the next away match with Enugu Rangers, Ilechukwu said that though the encounter would be tough but they would be prepared for the match.

Speaking on his target, the highest goal scorer in the team, Adachi Emmanuel having scored 4 already insisted on 15 goals as his target before the end of the season.

He said that his team for now in their straight 5 matches running has remained unbeatable, assuring that Imolites will experience suprise.

He said that the scoring chances he missed did not discourage his phsychology and his fighting spirit to convert other scoring chances to goal.
