The Road Safety Officers Wives Association (Road Safety Officers Wives Association (ROSOWA)) has taken its road safety campaign to Fouad Lababidi Islamic Academy, where pupils were educated on essential safety practices aimed at reducing road traffic incidents among young road users.

The sensitisation programme, led by the President of ROSOWA, Dr. Nafisat Shehu Mohammed, featured interactive sessions on child restraint usage, safe road-crossing techniques, and responsible conduct on public roads.

Dr. Mohammed emphasised the importance of early safety education, noting that instilling road safety awareness in children remains critical to building a generation of disciplined and cautious road users. She added that the association is committed to sustained outreach efforts targeted at schools and communities.

According to her, empowering pupils with practical knowledge of road safety not only protects them but also contributes to broader national efforts to reduce road traffic accidents.

Pupils of Fouad Lababidi Islamic Academy (Fouad Lababidi Islamic Academy) actively participated in the engagement, which included demonstrations and question-and-answer sessions designed to reinforce key safety messages.

The association reaffirmed its resolve to continue similar advocacy programmes across schools as part of its mandate to promote safety consciousness among children and the wider society.
