Kwara United goalkeeper, Nurudeen Badmus, has been named the Player of the Month for the debut edition of the award following his outstanding performances throughout October.
Badmus edged out teammates Aule Johnmark, Gidado Toheeb, and Yahaya Ibrahim to claim the honour, which is sponsored by Equity Circle, a development and construction company with operations in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
During the month of October, the shot-stopper faced 28 shots in six games, recording two clean sheets, 24 saves, one penalty save, and conceding only four goals.
Badmus secured an impressive 85.71% of the votes from supporters on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms to emerge as the winner.
