Abia Warriors forward, Sunday Megwo, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure maximum points against Heartland FC, on Sunday, in a Matchday 10 Oreintal Derby clash.
Sunday, however believes that the team’s recent form and determination will be key to overcoming their opponents.
“We are confident going into this match. We have been working hard in training and we are determined to get a positive result. Heartland is a tough team, but we believe we have what it takes to win.”
The Umuahia-born forward has been so impressive for the Umuchineke Boys this season with four goals in nine appearances but will be hoping to put up a good performance against the Naze millionaires this weekend (Sunday).
Abia Warriors are currently in good form, having won their last two matches. They will be looking to continue their winning streak against Heartland, who are also in need of a positive result.
