Abia Comets Football Club will be participating in the Abia State Governor’s NALCOMA Pre Season Tournament, which will kickoff on Monday, November 4,2024 at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.
The tournament will feature eight professional Football clubs, in the South-East and South-South Geopolitical zones.
The Umuahia Based club, will feature in the Pre-Season Tournament alongside fellow Nigeria National League (NNL) clubs, such as Edel FC (Awka), Abakaliki FC (Abakaliki), Kun Khalifat FC (Owerri), Godswill Akpabio FC ( Uyo) and as well as Solutions FC of Awka, while two amateur league sides such as Diamond Academy (Umuahia) and Ahudia Nnem FC ( Aba) will also be competing in the four-day football programme which will end on Thursday, November 7,2024.
The four days will help to provides a great opportunity for teams, to continue on its preparation ahead of the 2024/25 NNL season, which is expected to kickoff on November 30th, 2024.
