Nigeria Players’ Union Congratulates Sunday Abe Over Retirement

The Nigeria Players Union, National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers, NANPF, has congratulated its Chairman, Sunday Abe on his retirement from active football.

This was contained in a statement signed by the NANPF Secretary, Austin Popo.

Recall that the former Sunshine Stars captain recently called it quit after decades of active football in Nigerian top-flight.

The Union seized the opportunity to congratulate Abe for a successful retirement game which held at the Akure Township Stadium.

While wishing him a fulfilled post-retirement, they urged him to continue to provide leadership and expertise in repositioning the players union using his vast wealth of experience and contacts.
