CEO Monimichell Sports Construction Company, Mr Ebi Egbe has pleaded with the Imo State government to quickly pick up and install the scoreboard of the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri since the last three years.
In a chat with Wakawaka Sports Extra on Global FM, Mr Ebi noted that the scoreboard is long overdue and will add to beauty of the game at the Dan Anyiam stadium.
His words: “I don’t know what’s going on. The project is ongoing. You can’t have a stadium without a scoreboard. I have a lot of things coming to the country. I need to get the scoreboard installed. I can’t keep this scoreboard for three years.
“I’m pleading with the state government to please do something about it. I hope they listen to my plea. I’m very sure you can’t have a stadium without a scoreboard. We were the first to complete our job at the Dan Anyiam Stadium. I just pray the state government can react to it so that we can get this job done.”
