Naija Ratels Coach Anya Ugochi has said that it was a big experience for her lads after their disappointing outing at the Nigeria Women Football League, Super Six play off in Benin City.
The Abuja-based team, playing in their first major tournament since founded in 2019 failed to amasss victories during the tourney.
However, Ugochi told Wakawaka Sports Extra that her side will bounce back and do better in their subsequent super six tournaments noting that it was a great experience to witness another level of football.
She said: “It’s a big opportunity for us to come and see other level of football. We have come, we have seen and we have learnt. If we have the opportunity to come again we will definitely do better than this.
“We just came to league, and we are in the super six. We felt we are super and when we came we saw that it is a different ball game altogether.
“It’s a big experience for us. We appreciate our Chairman who has done so well to make sure we are here. The performance the players put on was fantastic. We are going to make adjustment.”
