“I have come to see how the team will go back to where it belongs. It’s still work in progress because am teaching them how to score and defend. I think in our subsequent games, we will get more goals.”
Similarly, Uchenna Njoku of Apex said that: “It was a wonderful game. They played well and we played well too. My game was fantastic today. I will aim to go more higher than this.”
Meanwhile, Chimampka Onyemaechi of Nnewi United said his side lacked concentration during the game while believing in the coach to make amends.
Onyemaechi, who joined the Nnewi-based side from Shooting Stars Club of Ibadan added that they will gain promotion at the end of the season.
Onyemaechi said: “I really thank God for the game. We lacked concentration where some of us have not tested the league and maybe our coach will give us the courage.
“I have to thank the club for bringing me here. It’s a good home I believe in myself that before the season ends, we will gain promotion.”
