International Agent Advice NFF To Appoint City FC Boss As Chief Scout

An international player’s intermediary and Agent, Emeka Chukwuma has advised the Nigeria Football Federation to appoint Chairman of City FC of Abuja Chidi Emmanuel Okonkwo as the Chief Scout of the senior national team, Super Eagles

Chukwuma who spoke to journalists in Abuja, said with the pedigree of the City FC Boss and his achievements in the game of football, he possess all it takes to identify the high quality players that the various national teams including Super Eagles needs to perform to the optimal.

Quoting his words, the Canadian based agent said “Chidi Okonkwo has scouted so many top players who are plying their trades in top leagues in Africa and beyond”

“He scouted Anayo Iwuala, who was later transferred from Delta Force to Enyimba and now playing in Esperance of Tunisia. He also discovered the likes of Kazie Enyinnaya who plays for Rivers United, also Fabian Nworie, Rivers United, Ozor Phillips plays for Enyimba International, same with
Nduka Pascal, and Oluwatosin Adegbite not forgetting
Sochima Ndukauba who man’s the goal for Rivers United”.

He said that one cannot rule out the qualities of the young players in his present team City FC such as Emmanuel Ihezuo who is currently Nigeria National League top scorer with 9 goals and petit size midfielder Chima Deruo”

He said that Hon. Chidi is a seasoned football administrator with wealth of experience in the industry both locally and internationally, and has eyes for good talent.

The Chairman of NNL club owners was the Former Chairman, Ghanaians first division club, Horebian Football Club, Sporting Director, Berekum Chelsea of Ghana, Chairman, Swaziland Premier League club, Black Swallow FC, Chairman/ CEO of NLO club side, Vemard Africa Football Club of Enugu, Former Chairman/CEO of Delta Force Football Club and Currently Chairman of City Fc of Abuja.

Chukwuma said with the achievements of the football administrator, and the successes in every Club he has managed, that Nigeria will benefit from his wealth of experience and professionalism.
