The Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices (Pocacov) the Nigeria police Force community policing initiative working with different stakeholders and multi Agencies ,galvanizing their support and enhancing their Participations for problem solving through a well designed community based crime prevention activities and strategies has congratulated the Force Secretary and the Sole Administrator of Nigeria police Sports ,AIG Hafiz Inuwa mni on his recent award and recognition by the International Human Rights commission as Police Hero of Human Rights 2021 during the occassion organized by the group on 10/12/2021 at ladi kwali hall ,Sheraton Hotel Abuja to mark the international day for Human Rights
.According to the National Coordinator Pocacov ,CSP Ebere Amaraizu while reacting on the significance and essence of the event and what it portends ,We identify with the international human Rights commission and commend them for this remarkable identification of our boss who also stood firmly against Cultism, substance and drug abuse through the instrumentality of Pocacov with strict observation of human Rights as a commissioner of police in Delta state before his elevation to the exalted rank of Assistant inspector General of police.On his part while delivering his keynote address ,Prof Yemi Akinseye George (SAN) president of the centre Socio legal studies who also was honoured African hero of human Rights ,spoke on the human Rights against Cultism and other vices in the school and the society at large and urge all and sundry stand on their rights towards speaking against Cultism and other vices irrespective of their tribe and gender for a safe ,peaceful and secured society .He also advised youth to stand out and focus on their education and to resist any pressure ,attempt and intimidation by some misguided elements in the society to lure them into Cultism and other vices .It was gathered that the event was put together by the international human Rights commission to commomerate the international day for human Rights held on 10/12/2021 .
