Grasshoppers international handball team of Imo state defeated Defender Babes by 24 -19 in their third game of the ongoing prudent energy handball premier league in Abuja.
The team has remained unbeaten after match day three having won their first two games of the ongoing to fellow competitors of the game
Grasshoppers are beginning to return back to her good old days when they were the pride of the country.
The team which has worked hard over the years to regain her lost glory were motivated on the first day by the presence of the Commissioner for youth and Sports Hon Dan Ogu who promise them that Governor Hope Uzodimma is impressed with their performance and will leave no chances for the team to drop from her present form.
Commended the ladies for their victory and promise to ensure that they smile at the end of the championship.
