The chairman Imo State Mini Football Association and Assistant coach of the national Minifootball team, Mr Chigozi Nwagwu said that the opening game of the Africa Minifootball Cup of Nations yesterday in Ibadan is a reference point to what is expected at the championship from the Nigerian team.
He said that the tournament which brings together Minifootball playing Nations in Africa has grown technically in the last few years .
Nigeria played out a goaless draw in her first game of the championship with Libya but created lots of scoring opportunities in the game, he added that the players and technical Crew are strategically working out ways to improve the goal scoring performance of the team in their next game.
According to him Nigeria is in group A with Libya, Djibouti, Zambia, and Senegal.
