On 8th February 2021, Ezinihitte PDP Family led by HON CHIJIOKE MODESTUS NJOKU (CJ), including the progressive men and women in Ezinihitte Mbaise, happily received and joined Distinguished Senator Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi, senator representing Imo East(Owerri zone) in the national Assembly and his entourage to commission the completed meaningful projects he attracted to Ezinihitte, precisely Adakam Amumara in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, Imo state.
Firstly, Ezinihitte people joyfully welcomed and commended Distinguished Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi( aka Mr. Empowerment) for his high level of performance in the national Assembly and the meaningful projects he attracted to Ezinihitte Mbaise, stressed that there is no vacancy in Imo East (Owerri zone) Senatorial seat till 2027. They also said that senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi has used less than two years to achieve what the past senators in Owerri zone did not achieve throughout their tenure. They unanimously passed a vote of confidence in senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi because of his good work in Owerri zone in terms of infrastructural/human capital development and also agreed to give him strong support in order to attain his desired height if he continues doing good to Ezinihitte people without misbehaving, adding that his type of empowerment such as showing people how to Catch fish instead of always giving them fish is really helping the society.
Secondly, the traditional ruler of Adakam Amumara community in the person of HRH Eze Ositadimma, Umara 3 of Amumara who was duly represented by Chief Emeka Amaechi expressed his profound gratitude to senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi for siting such a developmental projects like modern Market with Borehole, Power supply and abattoir at Ahia-Orie Amumara which is his community, adding that Amumara community and Ezinihitte at large will give him the necessary support he needs in order to actualise his positive dreams.
Moreover, the PDP Chairman of Amumara Ward 1 in the person of Engr. Promise Enogwe thanked senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi for bringing such a wonderful project to his political Ward and promised to work strongly with his executive team and the entire Amumara people in order to give him maximum support.
Furthermore, the Vice Chairman of Ezinihitte PDP in the person of Ezeji Nze CY Agulanna, Dr. JIC Osondu, Hon. Nze Chimenka Ndulaka who is the Ezinihitte coordinator of senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, Hon. Chief Isaac Anyim(OsisiUgo), happily appreciated senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi for gradually fulfilling his campaign promises and asked God almighty to grant him more wisdom and strength to do more, Amen.
In his statement, the former chairman of Ezinihitte PDP, the former Chief of protocol to the Imo state Government under the leadership of H.E Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha in the person of Hon. Chief Chinemerem Madu applauded senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi popularly known as Mr. Empowerment for his quality representation and urged him to work together with the two house members in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Rt. Hon. Emeka Chinedu Martin who is a federal legislator and Hon. Barr. Anyadike Nwosu who is representing Ezinihitte in the Imo state house of assembly, in order to attract more development in Ezinihitte Mbaise and Owerri zone at large.
Consequently, the federal legislator representing Ezinihitte/ Ahiazu in the national Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emeka Chinedu Martin, and state house member representing Ezinihitte mbaise in the Imo state house of assembly, Hon. Barr. Anyadike Nwosu that was represented by Chief Kingsley Njoku ( aka Onwa) who is the Director General of Emeka Chinedu campaign organisation, thanked senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi for his good work and promised to work in synergy with him in order to provide a better environment for Ezinihitte and Owerri zone at large.
In addition, Dr. Shar Linus Okorie who is the Director General of Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi campaign organisation, joyfully thanked Ezinihitte people for responding positively and also for appreciating the good work of senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, adding that senate is zoned for Owerri while Governor is zoned for Mbaise, that no Mbaise person should dream to contest for Owerri zone Senatorial seat because of Mbaise governorship dream.
In his speech, the senator representing Imo East (Owerri zone) in the national Assembly, Senator Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi (aka Mr. Empowerment), happily thanked Ezinihitte people for receiving him with all due ceremonial. He specially commended the Ezinihitte PDP Chairman, HON. CHIJIOKE MODESTUS NJOKU (CJ) for his quality leadership. He further highlighted some of things he has done in less than two years in office as a senator, saying that this is the beginning, that he is going to do more meaningful projects in Ezinihitte Mbaise that will surprise them. He also promised to empower most of the youth in Ezinihitte Mbaise and Owerri zone at large in order to eradicate extreme poverty.
