The Executive Governor of Ebonyi State Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has poured Encomium on his wife and First Lady of the State,, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru on the occasion of her birthday celebration.
Governor Nwifuru who was very elated described his wife as a pillar of strength and precious jewel ” Let me take this moment to celebrate my dearest wife , my companion, my pillar of strength and my precious jewel, Her Excellency Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru. My love, as you celebrate another glorious year of your life , my heart and our children are filled with gratitude to God for the priceless gift of having you as my wife, mother , companion and confidant”
The Ebonyi Governor who went down memory lane in his philosophical anecdotes described his wife as a treasure that cannot be found in political office, material possession or public recognition adding that his wife remains an inestimable treasure that stood with him and endured all struggles from his modest humble beginnings to the political corridors of political leadership.
Other well meaning Ebonyians such as political office holders, APC Chieftains, and Executive Council members of the Ebonyi State Government have also eulogized the Ebonyi First Lady stating that her motherly roles in caring for the sick, indigent women, pregnant women, Children and youth through her pet-project: Better Health for Rural Women and Displaced Persons (BERWO) has continued to change the standard of life of Women and children.
Furthermore, women, political associates, family and friends have continued to pray for Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru for more wisdom, longevity and health describing her as ‘Nneoha’ who has helped in ameliorating the pains and burden of child birth by enrollment of several Ebonyi women into the National Health Insurance Scheme for free delivery.
