The National Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Gender Initiative, Comrade Martins Chibuzor Opara, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, as Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the President’s re-election bid.
Opara, in a statement, described the appointment as a recognition of Uzodimma’s loyalty, political experience and contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said the Imo governor had distinguished himself as a committed party leader and political strategist with the capacity to mobilise support and drive the party’s objectives.
According to him, Uzodimma’s appointment demonstrates the confidence the APC leadership has in his ability to handle sensitive national responsibilities.
Opara also praised President Tinubu and the leadership of the APC for considering Uzodimma suitable for the assignment, describing the decision as a reward for competence, loyalty and dedication to the party.
He expressed optimism that the governor would bring his political experience and organisational capacity to bear in the campaign council.
“On behalf of myself and the Renewed Hope Gender Initiative, I warmly congratulate our governor on this important national assignment. We are confident that he will deliver excellently,” Opara stated.
