The Tasieobi Global Foundation has extended its Back to School Project 2025 to Aba, Abia State, describing the outreach as a “homecoming of impact and hope.”
The exercise, held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Riverside Primary School and Etche Road 1 & 2 Primary Schools in Aba, brought smiles to pupils and teachers through motivational sessions and the distribution of educational materials.
Founder of the Foundation, Mr. Elvis N. Tasieobi, expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the people and government of Abia State, commending the peaceful environment that has encouraged educational and social interventions.
“Our experience in Aba has been truly fulfilling. The schools we visited reflect the spirit of our project — supporting young learners, inspiring them, and strengthening public education,” Tasieobi said.
The Foundation’s Back to School Project 2025 has so far reached nine schools and impacted over 1,000 pupils across Nigeria.
Mr. Okorie Ernest (MrShow), a multimedia expert and good governance advocate, served as the Community Engagement Personality for the Aba edition, coordinating activities and working closely with school authorities.
The Aba outreach also had in attendance Mr. Kennedy Onwuali, CEO of Silvernews, who praised the initiative for its role in empowering children and promoting quality education.
The Foundation commended Hon. Alex Ifeanyi Ikwechegh, Member representing Aba North/South Federal Constituency, for his earlier renovation of Riverside Primary School, one of the schools visited.
The next phase of the outreach will take the team to Umuahia, where visits are planned for Olokoro Community School, Olokoro–Umuahia, and Union Primary School, Ibeku–Umuahia, before returning to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Foundation called for partnerships and support from individuals and organizations to expand its impact in promoting access to quality education.
