Eziala Ogwu Nguruwenkwo Autonomous Community has joined voices with Mbaise sons and daughters across the globe in showering praises on High Chief Uche Nwagwu and Rev Fr Ben Nwachukwu Udaku for their tireless humanitarian services that continue to transform lives in Mbaise and beyond.
In what has been described as a “great blessing to the land,” High Chief Uche Nwagwu is set to host a comprehensive medical and surgical health intervention for the people of Mbaise and its environs. The initiative, which runs from August 10th to 15th, 2025, will take place across three zones: Nguruwenkwo Health Center Nkwogwu (Zone A), Trans Amadi Holiday Resort Hotel Limited Umuopara in Obetiti Autonomous Community, Aboh Mbaise LGA (Zone B), and Amala, Avuvu Autonomous Community in Ikeduru LGA (Zone C). Screening begins on August 2nd, 2025 at Nguruwenkwo Health Center Nkwogwu, with all services offered free of charge.
“This medical outreach is an unquantifiable gift to our people. Many thanks to High Chief Uche Nwagwu for his magnanimous modus viviendi and unadulterated modus operandi in reaching out,” said Anselm Onyeananam, the coordinator for High Chief Uche Nwagwu’s Medical Initiative.
Adding to the groundswell of goodwill, Rev Fr Ben Nwachukwu Udaku, a renowned spiritual leader and humanitarian, is also being hailed for his consistent grassroots health and welfare outreach through BertoEdAngeli Medical Centre in Eziala-Ogwu. The Centre runs bi-weekly home visits to the sick and elderly, a free Sunday clinic, and a monthly welfare program that includes food distribution, bathing of the sick, home repairs, and stipends for the vulnerable.
“In the spirit of oneness, I now request all men in Eziala-Ogwu from 40 years and above to go for a free annual PSA examination in our Medical Centre to avoid late diagnoses and uncalled medical emergencies,” Rev Fr Ben Udaku urged. “We love God by loving His people.”
The people of Eziala Ogwu Nguruwenkwo Autonomous Community have described the duo as shining examples of selfless service, working tirelessly to uplift the little, the least, and the last in society, in line with Christ’s teaching in Matthew 25:40.
As the medical missions gear up to touch more lives in August, the community has called on all indigenes to support and collaborate with these life-changing initiatives.
