Job Tsegha Congratulates Dominic Iorfa on Barau FC Historic Five-Game Unbeaten Run

A political ally to Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President, Job Tsegha has congratulated the General Manager of Barau FC, Dominic Iorfa for leading the side to a historic five-game unbeaten run in the ongoing 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

Barau FC, owned and founded by the Deputy Senate President, DSP Jibrin Barau enjoyed a fantastic run of matches with victories over Niger Tornadoes and Ikorodu City FC while securing draws against Enyimba FC, Bayelsa United and Bendel Insurance.

Tsegha extolled the leadership qualities of Iorfa to lead the side out of the relegation zone, describing it as a promise fulfilled to the Deputy Senate President.

According to him, “the GM had set a target of five matches unbeaten to his principal. On the day we visited the DSP, it was the GM who reminded his boss of his earlier promise to him.

“I was visibly worried and angry because Barau FC had Bendel Insurance and Ikorodu City to contend with in between the five matches target.

“Today, I am glad to congratulate Mr. Dominic Iorfa for going five matches unbeaten against the following teams: Niger Tornadoes, Enyimba Int., Bayelsa Utd, Bendel Insurance, and Ikorodu City.
Congratulations, Chief Dominic Iorfa.”

Following the one-nil victory over Ikorodu City in match day 24, Barau FC have now secured 30 points.
