To the esteemed public and members of City Boy Movement,
We, the leadership of the City Boy Movement Imo State Chapter, ably led by Hon. Dr Ijeoma Agbonma Kalu, the State Leader and Hon. Prince Francis Uzor, the State Coordinator, would like to address recent developments within our organization.
It has come to our attention that in the quest for power, Amb. Goodluck Nwaneri has been impersonating the office of the South East Coordinator, City Boy Movement and making unauthorized appointments. Specifically, the appointment of Prince Osinachi Amako, Vice Chairman, Owerri West LGA, as the State Coordinator of City Boy Movement Imo State Chapter, is hereby discredited and considered null and void.
We reiterate that Hon. Prince Francis Uzor is the duly appointed State Coordinator of City Boy Movement Imo State, and Amb. Goodluck Nwaneri is the State Director, while Hon. Dr Ijeoma Agbonma Kalu remains the State Leader. These appointments were made on same day by Hon. Francis Tosin Shoga, the National DG, City Boy Movement under the supervision and approval of our National Leader, Barr. Seyi Tinubu.
The trio appointments were made in the spirit of sportsmanship and unity, following a successful and peaceful harmonization of the State leadership. This move aims to accommodate new leaders and members, promoting a cohesive and effective team.
We urge the public to disregard any claims or actions made by Prince Osinachi Amako or any other individual purporting to represent the City Boy Movement Imo State Chapter without proper authorization. We assure the public that these matters will be addressed internally, and those responsible for these unauthorized actions will face the necessary consequences.
We remain committed to transparency and accountability within our organization. We will continue to work towards our goals and objectives in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda as enshrined by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, upholding the principles of unity and sportsmanship that define the City Boy Movement.
