As the Commissioner of Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu, marked his One Year Anniversary in Office, the Imo State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), had felicitated with him and wished him better days ahead.
The youth in a release signed and made available to the media in Owerri, on Saturday, through the Imo State NYCN Chairman, Barr. Ezinwanne Chimuanya Udoka, said Ukaegbu’s One Year in Office as Commissioner of Youth Development and Talent Hunt has been very remarkable.
Udoka said Ukaegbu has shown capacity as a veritable leader, astute politician and technocrat by helping to initiating and implementing some policies of the Shared Prosperity government that spur the youth to productivity, thereby reducing crime, violence and insecurity in the state.
“Since his appointment by the amiable Governor Hope Uzodimma as the Commissioner of Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu has been outstanding as he has shown resilience, capacity and mental acuity to leadership and politics.
“Being instrumental to the success of the 3R administration and the engagement of some youths in governance, leadership, employment and empowerment, Ukaegbu has been a reliable force to the youth and humanity at large.
“Imo youths, under the umbrella of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, will continually demonstrate civility, patriotism, as well as lend credence to the 3R administration to continue to succeed and meet the aspirations of the people of Imo State who deserve good living.
“NYCN Imo State prays for the success of the Commissioner as he renders more useful assistance to the Governor who has shown love and concern to the youth. He has really done excellently and posterity will hold him in high esteem”, Udoka said.
The youth urged the Commissioner to always intensify efforts to evenly engage and empower them meaningfully so that poverty and insecurity would reduce minimally.
