Ekwerazu Town Ahiazu Mbaise witnessed a historic event yesterday as the Permanent site of St. Joseph College of Nursing Sciences, Ekwerazu Town, was officially dedicated to God. The ceremony was led by the landlords of the land, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Eze P. N. Anosike. Oguruigwe Asoku III. of Ekwerazu Town Autonomous Community, alongside Very Rev. Monsignor Theophilus Nwalo and Rev. Fr. Franklin Odoegbulem.
Expressing his joy over the development, HRH Eze P. N. Anosike, thanked the Umuezealabaku Kindred for accepting to give out the land for the College of Nursing project and issued a decree against any individual or group attempting to disrupt the project. The traditional ruler emphasized the importance of unity and development, highlighting that the project would create opportunities and bring long-awaited progress to the community.
In his homily, Monsignor Nwalo reflected on his past experiences in the community, recalling his prophecies about its growth. The occasion also provided him with the opportunity to reconnect with old friends from the local church, some of whom he last saw in 1997.
The event is seen as a major breakthrough for the agrarian community of Mbaise, setting the stage for the groundbreaking ceremony, which is expected to attract dignitaries and key stakeholders from across the region.
