The Chairman of Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area in Imo State, Hon. Larry Chikwe, has applauded the efforts of the Top Seed Mbaise Club for organizing a football competition aimed at discovering grassroots talents.
Speaking as the Special Guest of Honour during the match day three fixture between Ahiazu Mbaise and Ezinihitte Mbaise local governments, Hon. Chikwe expressed his satisfaction with the competition, which ended in a thrilling goalless draw. He highlighted its potential to nurture local players into global stars.
“It’s a fantastic initiative. The boys are demonstrating great skill and potential. Starting early is essential for grooming talents from rural areas. I’m confident that some of the players we see here today will become formidable stars in the future,” Chikwe said

Emphasis the goal of the competition to rejuvenate rural youth. He encouraged them to seize the opportunity to improve themselves and inspire others.

He urged the youth to focus on leveraging current opportunities to build a brighter future, while recognizing the foundations laid by previous generations.
