Fast rising Nigerian music sensation, Kelechi Umunna, with the stage name, Mankotee has revealed that plans are underway to stage a musical concert in Mbaise.
The Marine Engineering graduate from MCAST in Malta said that they will storm the Mbaise nation and the entire South-East region during the Christmas season.
Speaking with Silvernews.com.ng, the Mbaise First Son explained that there have been challenges in his musical career noting that the rise of social media has helped to cushion the effects.
He said: “The journey of my musical career started when I was young. I started going to the studio at a very young age. By 1992, I ventured into music fully. I had my six tracks recorded at Cubicle Studios Owerri. When I returned from overseas in 2010, I did my hit track album. It has not been very easy, we keep pushing hoping by God’s grace, we will get there.
“The journey into the music industry is not a mean feat. Financial constraints are sometimes one of the impediments that hover around this industry but thank God for social media that has given us the platform where we can show our talents and can get the audience attention.
“This December is going to be boom. We are coming home with a lot of goodies. We are storming Mbaise and the South East with a lot of concerts and shows. Many actors and actresses will storm this Mbaise to show our people love. We expect our people will have a reason for the season. We will give you the best we can.”
