Abia Warriors midfield maestro and Super Eagles B Team invitee, Innocent Godwin has assured the fans of the club of optimum performance against Lobi Stars of Makurdi, as both sides clash in a Matchday 11 fixture of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League.
Abia Warriors lost at home to Oriental brothers, Heartland Football Club of Owerri, in their last league fixture, a result that was as shocking as the fall of the Berlin wall to league followers and fans of the club, and the Benue born midfielder while speaking with Abia Warriors Media, acknowledged that the Warriors were not at their best but assured the fans of a better performance against ‘Yes Father’ boys.
“Our last game at home was not good enough because, we did all we could but our best was not good enough, but we are promising the fans and the entire management, our game against Lobi Stars, we will put on our best to make sure we come out victorious”, Innocent stated.
