History was made last Wednesday at Umuchoko Kindred Hall in Eziala Ogwu Ngurunwekwo Autonomous Community of Aboh Mbaise local government in Imo State, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
Titled men, Chairman of Awurawu, Eziala Ogwu Development Organization, EDO, executives and other stakeholders agreed and nominated the following people to head the new Aladinma Eziala Ogwu for the next three years.
They include; Nze Ugochukwu Nwachukwu Udaku, Chairman; Felix Njoku, Vice Chairman; Cosmas Agu Njoku, Secretary; Eva Onyeanam, Treasurer; Tony Abara, Assistant Secretary; Law Ugo, PRO 1; Simon Ohanogu, PRO 2; and Raymond Ukachi, Financial Secretary.
In his acceptance speech, Nze Udaku promised to harmonize issues in the community alongside his executives.
According to a release by the EDO Chairman, Mr Obinna Onyenemerem, this feat was achieved as a result of the consultation EDO executives had with Nze Law Ukachi, Chairman of Chiefs and Nze’s in Eziala Ogwu with other stakeholders in the community.
He explained that the move is a road map to peace in the community that was approved three years ago at by the Eziala Ogwu Peace Committee spearheaded by an illustrious son of the community, AVM Uche Nwagwu facilities by a prominent daughter of the soil, Immediate pass Solad of Aboh Mbaise local government Barrister Ogechi Njoku Ehirime in present of His Royal Highness Eze Damion Njoku the Ekwueme 2 of Ngurunwekwo Autonomous Community.
According to him, all the waring factions in the community were proscribed and set up an Aladinma in Eziala Ogwu that has been the major demand by the Eziala Ogwu Youths Organization led by Mr Ugochukwu Nwachukwu Agbada and for the return of electricity to the development union.
