The Edo State Football Association, led by her dynamic, resourceful and energetic chairman, Fred Newton has expressed solid support for the NANPF/CFF Community Football development initiative. ( NANPF /CFF – CFDI) Determined to reposition the development and Administration of football in the state through positive and impactful Grassroots football development initiatives, the state fa has declared her full support for the NANPF/ CFF Community Football development initiative designed to create a culture of football density at the Grassroots with the potential to satisfy both Sporting and Community objectives of Football.
The NANPF/CFF Community Football development initiative, with the support of the Edo State Football Association has commenced the appointment of all local Football Association council chairmen in the 19 LGA in the state as NANPF/CFF Coordinators
The appointed NANPF/CFF – CFDI Coordinators will drive and coordinate the ongoing nationwide Community Cup Football Tournament in all the LGA in the State that will give birth to the local government based Community membership Ownership Football Clubs, projected to create 19.new additional affiliates members ( Football clubs) for the state Football Association in line with global best practices.
