Anambra State Football Association Chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi will be a special participant at the 2024 World Football Summit slated for Spain, September 18 through 19, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
Iloenyosi, a former Super Eagles defender, is not the only Nigerian that will participate in the Summit as he will attend the topmost Football think-thank in company of Okaka FC, Lagos, CEO, Arinze Fortune Harison.
In a letter inviting the duo and which is in possession of Silvernews.com.ng, and dated 26 August, Jan Alessie, Director, World Football Summit, said the Summit will hold in Seville.
He said Iloenyosi’s invitation was in recognition of his rich knowledge in the game, having played the game at the topmost level.
“We host the largest and most influential community in football, attended by leading clubs, leagues, federations, associations, governing bodies, media institutions and multinational brands associated with Football from around the world, allowing them to meet, discuss, promote and generate business opportunities amongst each other”, the letter of invitation read in part.
