The Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Chikelue ‘General’ Iloenyosi, has commended the body of Nigeria States FA Chairmen who paid him a Condolence visit following the death of Senator (Dr) Patrick Ubah, the immediate past Anambra FA Chairman, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
Iloenyosi, a former Nigeria international, on Friday at his Abuja residence, welcomed the FA Chairmen, who arrived to grieve with him following the painful passing of Ubah, recently.
Iloenyosi deeply appreciated the top states Football priests over their visit, which he noted, points out the unity, love and concern amongst them.
“I’m deeply happy the way all the FA Chairmen in the country, including the FCT FA Chairman came to mourn with Anambra FA”, Iloenyosi said.
“It shows solidarity, unity, love and care. I pray that such tragedy never befalls the football community again”, Iloenyosi concluded.
