The Nigeria Players Union, National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers, NANPF gets new Players Board that was ratified by the Players Union Congress of August 10, 2024 in Akure Ondo State

The new board composed by a combination of some members of the interim board and new members were elected and appointed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the NANPF Statutes as amended by the Congress . The composition of the new board in line with the new governance structure of the union, largely made up of current players which shall serve for 3 years (2024-2027) includes, Abe Sunday of Sunshine Stars FC – NPFL (chairman) Golbe Elisha, Plateau utd FC, – NPFL ( 1st Vice chairman) Rabo Bala Mohammed – Ex Player (2nd vice chairman) other members are Nwaodu Chukwudi, Enyimba int FC – NPFL, Gabriel Biriduba, Bayelsa utd FC – NPFL, Itodo Ako, Lobi Stars FC – NPFL, Osanga King, Nasarawa utd FC – NPFL, Enuma Chinaza, Abia Angels – NWFL , Kenneth Matthias, Nasarawa Amazon – NWFL, Farimo Solaty, Danaz Queens FC – NWFL Saleh Mohammed, Mighty Jets FC – NNL (NC), Ifeanyi Nwankwo, Zamfara utd FC – NNL (NC) Ekene Joseph, Warri Wolves FC – NNL (SC) , Anieka Ekpe, Dakkada FC – NNL (SC), Abiodun Damilare, Adamimogo FC – NLO, Adeleke Adebayo, Sabongari utd FC – NLO, Augustine festus – ex player ( ex officio) one Reps each from Super Eagles and Super falcons – in line with Fifpro recommendation
