Mbaise people around the world have commended the Central Planning Committee of the 2024 Iri jI Mbaise National festival led by Dr Kachi Nwoga.
The commendation came from their response to the great news coming from the committee on how to boost Iri jI Mbaise National Celebration which will this year feature in the Africa Magic Television as one of the cultural programs that will be televised to the world.
In one of the discussions on Mbaise Policy Round Table MPR, www.silvernews.com.ng reports that the MPR members, Mr. Roland Obom and Prof Viola Onwunali commended the committee and urged them to go on to help uplift the cultural heritage of the people of Mbaise to the next level.
Prof. Onwunali recalled how she assisted in drawing the attention of the former Minister of Culture, Edem Duke to the Mbaise National Celebration from the Executive Council of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during the Goodluck Jonathan regime in the country and urge the committee to keep up with the good work they are doing for the good of Mbaise Nation.
Mr Jovita Okeahialam, who engaged Dr. Nwoga in a historical discussion about the cultural heritage relevance promised to continue the discussion on how to achieve the purpose it was set up to achieve.
