Nigerian striker, Augustine Chidi Kwem is seeking offers from other clubs after his sudden departure from AmaZulu FC of South Africa, Silvernews.com.ng reports.

The attacking sensation had ended the season as the club’s top scorer in his second year at the Durban based club.

Kwem, who arrived in South Africa in 2017 hailed Chippa United for the opportunity to make his breakthrough.

The 26-year-old, who has played for T.S Galaxy and Chippa United is looking forward to represent Nigeria at the Senior National team level, particularly at the AFCON saying that the relationship with other Nigerian players in South Africa is top-notch.

“I learnt a lot in South Africa on how to play in a professional set-up. I also thank Chippa United for giving me the platform. Also, T.S Galaxy and AmaZulu for grooming me as a player. For now, I have no offers yet in South Africa. I will be looking elsewhere to further my career. There are interest around the world.

‘About the national team, hopefully, if the opportunity comes, I will play and if doesn’t, I will still give glory to God. At least, I made it to the level of a professional player. I am grateful to God for the opportunity.

“It will be a good opportunity to play in a CAF tournament, whether the CAF Champions League or AFCON. I am also weighing my chances. If I get a call up to the national team, it will be fine. We get along with Nigeria players in South Africa and reach out to each other.”
