Silversports Football Club player, Prosper Nkwocha, who was part of the victorious Apex Krane FC side that won the Kanu Nwankwo U-19 competition said he is delighted to win it, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
Nkwocha, who scored two goals to help his side clinch the trophy said the victory will mark the beginning of greater things in his professional career.
While promising his teeming fans and supporters that he will continue to make them proud, the attacking sensation discovered at the Dr Matthew Amadi Football Competition is optimistic of playing in Europe and other top sides across the world.
“It means a lot. At least, I will say that during my professional career, I got something tangible. It means great achievements to us. This will be a motivation to everyone of us that want to go higher.
“I want to reach to the international standard and play in Europe. I have not seen anyone coming to ask my service but my manager has informed me about clubs asking for my service.
“I am hoping to get good offers. I thank all my fans for supporting me. I promise to represent them with good result.”
