Ebere Amaraizu Hails Rangers Management Over Stewards/Volunteers Initiative

The Chairman, Rangers International Football Club Foundation, Ebere Amaraizu has hailed the initiative of Rangers Steward/ Stadium Volunteers Framework Of Rangers Management Corporation Under Chief Executive Officer/ General Manager Barrister Amobi Ezeaku.

He described it as not only  one of the best thing that has  happened to football development in our country, but the first of it’s kind and in line with the international best practices.

According to Amaraizu, who also is an Olympics solidarity Sports Administrator and Manager as well as U.S Government IVLP Alumni Member.

“Stadium Stewards/ Volunteers helps to do community services, provide convivial services which promotes the face of the game especially in the areas of environment (climate action) stadium cleanliness through removal of debris and materials that could cause disharmony/disaffection and dissatisfaction of FANS/Spectators.

“They also help to maintain stadium decorum and add spices to the general cleanliness, security, safety  and orderliness in the stadium with easy coordination by the community members. This is a huge one and needs to be replicated in all our stadiums.”

On the tie between Rangers and Enyimba FC on Sunday in Enugu, Amaraizu described it as a derby which will help to promote community cohesion and social responsibility within the south east region and the nation at large.

He charged all to leverage on the passion and excitement that comes with this kind of great derby to propagate peace, compassion, build bridges as one body with one goal to foster and promote community cohesion, dialogue, discussions thereby enhancing inter community understanding for a greater society.

He revealed that Rangers Int’l FC Foundation has already finetuned its activity and frameworks with multi disciplinary approaches and strong coalitions on community driven  interventions that will give positive community impact especially in the areas of children and youth interventions, climate change, health and wellbeing, community engagement that will create life changing experience and opportunities, sports and physical activity, parent support programmes, amongst others .
