….As Nneji explains benefits of chamber of commerce
Surv. Joe Anosike was at the weekend inaugurated as the first President of Mbaise Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture, MBCCIMA.
The occasion was witnessed by the business community in the country and the government of Imo State representated by the Commissioner for Commerce, Dr Abazu Chika Benson.
The Chairman of the program and founder of ABC Transportation Plc, Mr Frank Nneji explained the benefits and importance of chamber of commerce.
He enumerated the merits during the inauguration and investiture of Joe Anosike as its president.
According to Nneji, “There are many benefits that are usually associated with the chamber of commerce. There are many things emerging businessmen and businesses cannot do alone but will most surely succeed when these issues are undertaken as a chamber.
“The chamber is about advocacy and its aim is to solve business problems as well as promote business activities. I can tell you that the chamber also plays very great role in foreign and local businesses and partnerships.
“Again, the chamber provides training windows even as it brings access to funds and networks to members. Thus, I most sincerely urge you all to join and identify with Mbaise Chamber of Commerce Industry Mine and Agriculture.”
Highpoint of the occasion was the investiture of Surv. Joe Anosike as the pioneer President of the chamber and the honouring of individuals who have contributed to growth of business and commmerce in Mbaise including; Sir Frank Nneji, Sir Stanley Amuchie, Barr. Emma Njoku, Harold Nwanne and others.
