Captain of high-flying Fr Eburuaja FC, Christian Mbadiwe has set sights on taking his side to the 2024 National Federation Cup Round of 32 with victory over FC One Rocket, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
The Orlu-based side, who defeated Flight FC of Benue State in the playoffs will confront their Akwa Ibom State counterparts on 1st of May, 2024 at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba in the Round of 64.
The skipper said his team are not scared to come up against the Nigeria National League side noting that they have done it before in last year’s competition.
“We are so much preparing for the clash. It’s not going to be an easy one but we know we are going to come out victorious.
“It’s a national league side and with no disrespect to the team, we acknowledged them as a very good team. Last year we played a national league side and we won them and proceeded to round of 32. We are expecting to repeat such and go higher this time around.”
