Speaking after the game, Udueze hailed the performance of his players saying that they are hungry to ensure that the sky is their limit with hardwork and determination.
He said: “You can see the hunger, enthusiasm and ingenuity in the boys. With God on their side and putting a serious work, the sky will be their limit.
“We have a very fantastic foundation. The coach knows the rudiments, catching them from the grassroots catching them on time. If it was to be a better pitch, they would be surprised with that they will see.
“We are used to playing better pitch but when we came in, the coach advised them to see this pitch as the best pitch, adopt it and play free-flowing game. If we have a better opportunity, you might be surprised to see what the players will do.”
On his part, Head Coach of the team, Uchechukwu Nwabuko expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players adding that the two teams played well.
“I am so delighted with the way the game went. Everything was fine, the standard of the game was fine. It’s a game I will look up to playing anytime any day. The two teams played very well even as we lost. The scoreline doesn’t matter. I am impressed with the performance of my boys.
“We are based in Umuahia. Almost all of them started with me from U-13. Some of them have been with me for three years, four or five years. I can see that their future is very bright for them.”
