… As Best Talent FC Claim 3rd Place Prize

It was a battle of wit and tact on Wednesday (yesterday)at the final of the NLO Preseason tournament organized by Oyo FA held at Olubadan Stadium, Ibadan where Sult De King Football Club of Ibadan (SDK) defeated the Nationwide League One side, Adamimogo FC from Ondo state 2-1 to win the maiden edition.
According to the Chairman, Oyo State Football Association, Alakinyele of Akinyele, Oba James Odeniran noted that the 6-day tournament was to serve as preparation ground and ensure nationwide teams in Oyo state have viable ground ahead of the nationwide league one season billed to start April 13.
The Ibadan based football outfit, SDK began the tournament with a comfortable 2-1 win over Cornerstone FC at the opening match last week and went unbeaten to wrap up the title. A host of SDK first team players were spectacular and impressive in all five matches en route to the final. Also, Adamimogo defeated Best Talent FC from Mowe 1-0 at the Semi Final of the game
On the losers final, it was a titanic clash between Ogun State Football side, Best Talent FC against Oyomesi FC. The two teams paraded young and exciting players who play more of possessive football but at the end of the day, ten man Best Talent FC held Oyomesi to 2-2 draw and went ahead to win the encounter 5-4 via penalty Shootouts.
Sult De King FC received a sum of one hundred thousand naira as the winner while Adamimogo FC and Best Talent were rewarded seventy thousand naira and thirty thousand naira, respectively.
